Volvo C40 FAQs
The Volvo C40 has an electric driving range up to 269 miles and comes with a combined charging socket (both AC and DC inlet ports).
- With a DC fast charging cable, you can charge the C40 from 10% to 80% charge in 28 minutes.
- With a Type 2 charging cable, the C40 takes 7 hours to charge from 0% to 100%.

The Volvo C40 has the choice of three paint types: solid, metallic and premium metallic. There is only one solid paint which is called Black Stone. There are five metallic paint colours you can have:
- Silver Dawn
- Fjord Blue
- Thunder Grey
- Fusion Red
- Onyx Black
The two premium metallic paints are called Sage Green and Crystal White. It may depend on the specification of Volvo C40 as to which paints are available on that particular car so make sure to double check before you enquire.
The C40 has a load space of 413 litres – this is with the rear seats up. If you put the rear seats down, you can increase this boot space to 1,205 litres. There is also a front load compartment underneath the bonnet of the car – this is the perfect place to store your charging cables.
