Lachlan Currie

Lachlan joined Willow on the 15^th of November 2021 after working as a self-employed ESL tutor and proofreader for Chinese students wanting to study in the UK. As a sales consultant, he is there to take enquiries, speak with customers on the phone, and help them find their next car.  He advises customers through the leasing process by answering their questions and giving them vehicle recommendations.

Lachlan studied English at the University of St. Andrews and had always been tempted by a career in sales. When he came into the interview, he found that David had built a great team with some very like-minded individuals who all made me feel extremely welcome. He was impressed by our commitment to customer service and experiences in the motor trade and felt that he could learn a lot from us.

His favourite thing about working at the company is that “the working environment is great! There is so much energy and enthusiasm: everybody works together to achieve a common goal!”

Lachlan currently drives a silver Seat Leon but his dream car would be the 1977 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am – the car from Smokey and the Bandit, one of his favourite films of all time.

The worst job that Lachlan had was his student job at a seaside hotel where he worked a 6-hour shift and served no customers! He believes that the unexpected parts of life are the most fun and his favourite food is Chinese beef with oyster sauce!
